Surf seasons
The Pacific gets surf all year. From about April to October, south swells bring the biggest and most consistent waves, especially to the central and southern coast (Jacó, Dominical, Pavones). From December to April, offshore winds groom the waves in Guanacaste. The Caribbean is more fickle, with its best season from about December to March.
